Salt Crystal Lamp

Negative ions provide that sweet, fresh quality to the air that you find near a waterfall and they’re just what you need to feel more alive.

Electrical appliances and other things in our modern environment produce Positive Ions and these lamps actually absorb the excess positive ions and so restore a balance of negative and positive ions in the air around you.

The other approach is to use a device that “produces” Negative Ions but unfortunately there can be side effects. The quality of the air is certainly improved, however I’ve found that some of the “extra” ions are attracted to dust particles which then stick to the nearest surface, typically the wall. This causes a rather unsightly “dirty” area on the wall near the ioniser.

I’ve had no such problem with the Salt Crystal Lamps and they look beautiful as well. There are many different shapes and sizes and some are even sculptured as “designer” pieces for display. Just imagine the soft glow setting the mood…
